Sphere had taken a big step forward by bringing its manufacturing operations in-house. Through a partnership with Carasel, Sphere now has full control over production ensuring faster development and delivery of its HubX solution. This move strengthens Sphere’s ability to scale operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
By integrating design, engineering, and manufacturing under one roof, Sphere is streamlining processes and accelerating innovation. Carasel’s advanced facility, equipped with precision sheet metal fabrication, robotic machining, powder coating, and custom assembly, give Sphere the tools needed to build top-tier drone solutions efficiently. Plus, using locally sourced materials ensures quality while supporting Australian industries.
By moving production in-house, Sphere is reinforcing its commitment to Australian-made products. This shift supports local jobs, strengthens homegrown innovation, and ensures that HubX meets the specific needs of Australian industries.
Paris Cockinos, CEO of Sphere, shared “Taking manufacturing in-house is a game-changer for us. It allows us to scale HubX production, speed up innovation, and ensure top-quality solutions for our customers. Our early testing of DJI Dock 3 at Carasel also puts us ahead of the curve. Keeping production local means we can better support Australian industries while leading in drone innovation.”
To support this transition, Sphere has relocated its production facilities to Seven Hills. This move ensures they can meet HubX delivery schedules efficiently while continuing to provide reliable, high-quality service.
Sphere is also one of the first to test DJI’s new Dock 3 at Carasel. This early access gives Sphere a significant advantage, allowing them to integrate cutting-edge technology into their operations ahead of the market. With this, HubX is positioned to remain at the forefront of autonomous drone solutions.
Katie Selby, Managing Director of Carasel, added “We’re proud to support Sphere as they take control of their manufacturing. Paris and his team are leading the way in Australian-made drone solutions, and we’re excited to see them pushing boundaries with early DJI Dock 3 testing.”
Sphere’s advancements don’t stop at manufacturing. HubX has officially launched on the DJI Enterprise Ecosystem, the first Drone-in-a-Box (DiaB) solution to be featured on this global platform. This milestone showcases the strength and innovation behind HubX, offering clients access to world-leading drone solutions.
With full control over manufacturing, early access to DJI Dock 3, and a strong commitment to Australian innovation, Sphere is set to take HubX to new heights. Their streamlined operations and pioneering technology make them well-positioned to support customers with advanced, high-quality drone solutions.
